We collect visitor IP addresses and browser details for spam detection. An anonymized email hash may be shared with Gravatar to check if you use their service (Privacy Policy). Approved comments display your profile picture.

MEDIA

Avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as visitors can extract this information.

COOKIES

Comments/forms: You can save your name, email, and website in cookies for one year.
Login: Temporary cookies check if your browser accepts cookies. Login cookies last two days (or two weeks with "Remember Me"). Screen preferences last one year. Logging out removes login cookies.
Editing: Publishing an article saves a cookie with the post ID, expiring in one day.
